Services & Rates

Longarm Quilting Rates

I charge by the linear square inch for quilting services. For example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .03 = $144.

I charge $0.03 per sq in for most designs.

Higher density designs are $0.04 per sq in.

My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

Optional Services

Additional options to help get your quilt closer to done!

Press & Prep

$15 flat rate

Send your quilt top 'as is,' and we'll handle the press and prep! We'll iron your quilt top, trim stray threads, check seams and borders in our studio to save you time, and ensure your quilt top is perfectly prepared for quilting.

Quilt Trim

$10 - $20 depending on size

Want your top back nice and square after it's longarmed? We can help trim it down so when you receive your quilt, it's ready to bind.

Batting

I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend and 100% cotton. I also have limited quantities of wool and bamboo batting in stock, please ask for availability and pricing. On request I can also special order other blends or sizes from Quilters Dream.

Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.

I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting except in the case of special orders.  I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 6" margin) and charge per inch.

For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 66" of the batting of your choice.
66" of 100% cotton select loft @ $0.52/in = $34.32
66" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.40/in = $26.40
